Service Agreement

VIP Experience: VIP Copy Day, VIP Intensive, VIP Half Day

By signing this Agreement, you (Client) agree to engage Elizabeth Bond of Zenbird Words (Service Provider) to proceed with copywriting and marketing services for a VIP Copy Day, VIP Intensive or VIP Half Day (existing clients only) and agree to the conditions outlined in this Service Agreement.

During a VIP Copy Day, the Service Provider agrees to devote 10 hours to assignments determined by the Client, including up to 1 hour for a pre-VIP Copy Day Strategy Call and up to 30 minutes for post-VIP Copy Day support (within 14 days).

Work will be performed at the offices of the Service Provider but may take place at other locations, as required. Work priority and scheduling will be at the discretion of the Client. Work normally occurs between 9am- 5pm AEST on weekdays (Monday to Friday). For overseas clients or those outside the AEST time zone, working times and days will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the Service Provider.

During the pre-VIP Copy Day Strategy Call, the Client will receive a 60-minute online session with the Service Provider at the beginning of the work. The Client agrees to indemnify and hold the Service Provider harmless from any claims or liability arising from any advice given as a result of this Agreement. The Client will receive an email to schedule the call with the Service Provider.

During the post-VIP Copy Day support, the Client will receive a 30-minute ‘check-in call’ within 14 days of completing the work. The Client can ask any questions or discuss any concerns about the work performed during the VIP Copy Day with the Service Provider. The Client will receive an email to schedule the call with the Service Provider on finalisation of the work.

Please note: this support does not cover additional work that exceeds the initial services agreement or what was completed during the VIP Copy Day. If the Client has additional work that needs to be performed, the Client will be given the option to book another VIP Copy Day or a VIP Half Day.

VIP Day Intensives are either a series of VIP Copy Days or a combination of VIP Copy Days and VIP Half Days, depending on the nature of the work that needs to be completed and at the discretion of the Service Provider.

VIP Intensives of 2 or 3 days include a pre-VIP Intensive up to 90-minute Strategy Call with the Service Provider at the beginning of the work and up to 30 minutes of post-VIP Intensive support (within 14 days). VIP Intensives of longer duration will be negotiated at the time of enquiry.

VIP Half Days are only available to existing Clients as part of a VIP Copy Day or VIP Intensive package, to build on completed work or as a Retainer Agreement. During a VIP Half Day, the Service Provider agrees to devote 4 hours to assignments determined by the Client and 30 minutes for a pre-VIP Half Day Strategy Call and up to 15 mins of post-VIP Half Day support (within 14 days).

Payment for VIP Copy Days (Beta rate) will be to the Service Provider at the Beta rate of $1500 (usually $2250, that’s a 33% discount), VIP Half Days at the Beta rate of $750 (usually $1125, that’s a 33% discount), cost for VIP Intensives of varying duration will be finalised at the time of enquiry, and will be based on the above rates.

A 50% deposit for VIP Copy Days and VIP Intensives is required at the time of booking, and full payment is required for VIP Half Days and other services. The final 50% payment is required the day after the completed VIP Copy Day or VIP Intensive.

If work is required over the weekend or outside working hours for any reason, and at the Service Provider’s discretion, a 10% surcharge will apply.

Client rescheduling: the 50% deposit for VIP Copy Days or VIP Intensives is non-refundable when the Client accepts the Terms of Service. However, the Client can reschedule their slot within a 90-day timeframe. Rescheduling must happen at least 7 days before the booking. If the Client isn’t able to reschedule during that timeframe, their deposit may be applied to a future booking at the discretion of the Service Provider.

Service Provider rescheduling: in the unlikely event of an emergency arising for the Service Provider before the booked date of a VIP Copy Day, VIP Intensive or VIP Half Day, the Client will have access to the first available date. If this isn’t possible for the Client for any reason, the Client will be issued a full refund. If this emergency happens during the work, the date to complete the work will be negotiated with the Client, and they will receive a BONUS 60-minute live consultation session.

Disclaimer:

The outcome of the VIP Copy Day, VIP Intensive or VIP Half Day depends on the timeliness and thoroughness of the Client’s pre-work and feedback.

Please note: the Client is booking the services of the Service Provider for an allocated amount of time. If the Service Provider is providing a ‘bundle’ or ‘order of priority’ list of services, these items will be completed in order of priority according to the Client’s wishes. These details will be discussed at the Strategy Call before work commences.

During the Beta phase, the Service Provider will request feedback from the Client about the VIP Experience, a testimonial, online review or recommendation. Details to be provided.

Services provided by the Service Provider, in addition to the VIP Copy Day or VIP Intensive, will be made available as a VIP Half Day or VIP Copy Day at the current Beta rates and billed separately.

This purchase is non-refundable but may be transferred to another date or service with written notice 7 days before the booked pre-VIP Copy Day Strategy Call. The Client’s payment is valid for 90 days and must be used within that timeframe.

If the VIP Copy Day fails to occur within 90 days, or the Client fails to request a new date at least 7 days before the booked pre-VIP Copy Day Strategy Call, the deposit will be forfeited, and the VIP Copy Day will be terminated.

If the Client wishes to reschedule beyond 90 days, the original deposit may, at the Service Provider’s discretion, be applied to a new booking at the current VIP Copy Day rate, which may or may not be higher than the original booking rate. Please note in the Beta phase, there will be a 20% increase in this rate.
